You could be standing next to a brand new millionaire. A Mega Millions ticket worth $75 million was bought right here in the area.

Someone who bought a ticket in Virginia is $75 million richer after Friday's Mega Millions drawing. The lucky ticket was sold in Spotsylvania at the Joy Market and Deli, a privately owned store.

"So exciting! I don't know, how do I say, but so exciting," said Bruce Park, the manager of the deli.

The news also had regular customers in the close knit community buzzing with anticipation and excitement about who the lucky person might be.

"I'm hoping it went to someone in the poverty level. With the economy the way it is we need that regenerated back into the area here so it's our own form of what bail out money," said Susan Seiler.

No one knows who the winner is yet but customers buying a ticket today are hoping lightening could strike twice.

"We can get it twice, three times, as many times as we can get," said Park.

And lottery officials who stopped by the store had one more surprise to deliver.

"They will be getting a prize as well. A $50 thousand bonus for selling the jackpot winner," said Paula Ott0, Executive Director for the Virginia Lottery.

She also had a word of advice for the winner.

"I would take caution if the winner is watching right now to sign that ticket and put it in safe place. It is a bearer instrument, so that little piece of paper truly is worth 75 million dollars," said Otto.

Three tickets matched Friday's winning numbers. The other two tickets were sold in Ohio and California.
