A Petersburg father is under arrest for allegedly scalding his four-month-old daughter during a bath.
According to investigators, 25-year-old Jeffery Morris's daughter received burns from scalding during a bath Saturday. Police were notified Sunday after the infant's injuries worsened.
Morris is charged with unlawful felony injury, failure to secure medical attention, child abuse and child neglect. He is being held without bond.
There is no word yet on the infant's condition.
