Most Richmond area schools will be operating on a 2-hour delay Thursday. Henrico, Chesterfield, Richmond, Hanover and Petersburg will all open their doors to students two hours late.

Virginia is bracing for its second major winter storm in as many weekends.
Most of the state can expect some wintry precipitation, ranging from less than an inch in the southeastern portion of the state to more than a foot north and west of Richmond. The Metro Richmond area can expect between 5 and 8 inches, beginning midday Friday and continuing through Saturday.
