Officials tell 8News police arrived to find a male shot twice in the upper body. He was taken to VCU Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
Then, about nine and a half hours later, police say they responded to the 900 block of North 21st Street, and found another person shot twice in the upper body. That victim was taken to VCU Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
Authorities say the motive in both shootings appears to be robbery, and that police are not treating these incidents as related.
