Keri Abbott Carro returns to WRIC in her new role as co-host and meteorologist on Good Morning Richmond Weekend.
Keri was a member of our Good Morning Richmond team from 1996 to 2003. She graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in 1995 with a B.S. in Mass Communications and also holds a Masters of Science degree in Geosciences from Mississippi State University.
Keri is a member of the American Meteorological Society and holds their Seal of Approval for Television Weathercasting. She is also a member of the National Weather Association and also holds their Television Seal of Approval for Weathercasters.
Keri loves the Richmond area because the city has four seasons, and sometimes all in one week! She enjoys traveling, reading, shopping and spending time with family. Keri recently married Dan Carro, and has one daughter, June Elizabeth.
