There's a new development on the Taylor Behl case. On Monday, Richmond police issued a be on the lookout message across police scanners for a tan 4 door Nissan Altima with Virginia plates JTE-6886.
A Richmond police sokeswoman tells us they believe Taylor has been in the car before she disappeared and "It's just a very small part of a huge puzzle."
8 News spoke with a lawyer representing a local photographer being questioned in the case.Chris Collins, Ben Fawley's lawyer tells us he believes his client is a suspect, even if police won't confirm this."I think they're calling him a 'person of interest' which to me means he's a suspect but we don't want people to know he's a suspect. He would have to be a suspect. He was one of the last people, although not the last to have seen her so they've gotta look at him," says Chris Collins. Collins also confirmed to 8 news that the 38-year-old had a relationship with 17-year-old Taylor Behl.
"Their relationship was romantic," says Collins.
Fawley's lawyer also gave us more details about the night Taylor disappeared.
"She came back over later in the evening. Somewhere around 9:00. She borrowed a skateboard. He walked her back to the dorm about 9:30," he says.
Collins also tells us "I'm assuming he's not going to be charged so I'm not too worried about him."
