RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - Police have confirmed that remains found in a wooded area yesterday are those of a Virginia college student.
Authorities say they used dental records to confirm 17-year-old Taylor Behl's identity. However, they say they don't know how she died.
Behl was last seen at her college dorm last month. She told her roommate she would be back in a few hours. She took with her a cellphone, some money, her student I-D and car keys.
Earlier today, Behl's mother called for the death penalty for whoever killed her daughter.
A 38-year-old amateur photographer who was one of the last people to see Behl is being held without bond on child pornography charges. Ben Fawley has not been charged in the Behl case. Fawley and Behl had been romantically involved.
