RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - The University of Richmond is opening a downtown satellite campus in the fall.
The University of Richmond Downtown will be the center of community-based efforts that provide services for urban families through three programs: the Richmond Families Initiative, the Center for Pro Bono Service and the Family Law Clinic.
The programs will offer no-fee legal services provided by law students and attorneys, along with community-based learning, service and research by faculty and undergraduate students.
UR Downtown will be located in a renovated building on Broad Street near the new federal courthouse.
