
NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (AP) - About 70 soldiers are returning to Fort Eustis after spending more than a year in Kuwait.
The U.S. Army Transportation Center at Fort Eustis said a return ceremony is scheduled for Tuesday afternoon.
The soldiers are members of Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment, 10th Transportation Battalion, 7th Sustainment Brigade. While in Kuwait for 14 months, they operated a heavy equipment transport facility.
Long-haul cargo missions departed from the facility to Iraq.
