
Showers and thundershowers will be moving through the region this morning, as a weak weather system will be heading our way. This system will keep us under mainly cloudy skies for today with the chance of more showers and possible a thunderstorm or two. Temperatures today will still be mild with highs in the lower 80s and it will remain humid. A few showers will remain over the region tonight otherwise will be mostly cloudy and muggy with lows in the middle 60s. Clouds and a passing shower or two will be over central Virginia early this morning then our skies will become partly sunny with highs in the middle 70s. The humidity will begin to drop during the afternoon on Friday and that will help to set up a great weekend. Saturday will features mainly sunny skies and it will be very nice with highs in the lower 70s. The sunshine will continue for Sunday and it will remain very pleasant with highs in the middle 70s. Memorial Day Monday looks very nice with highs in the upper 70s to near 80 under partly sunny skies. It looks like partly sunny skies will continue for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday with highs in the middle to upper 80s.
