RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - The VCU Health System is in negotiations to acquire Children's Hospital of Richmond.
Children's Hospital CEO and President Leslie G. Wyatt says the facility would operate under VCU's umbrella.
Wyatt and John Duval with VCU say both organizations' governing boards have approved the proposal in concept. Final approval is pending.
Children's Hospital has about 300 workers who would become VCU's employees.
