Severe Thunderstorm WATCHES are in effect for the area up until 11pm in a few spots. Also, a Flash Flood WATCH is in effect for much of the region until early Thursday Morning. Several waves of showers and thunderstorms are going to be on tap tonight and they could contain locally heavy amounts of rainfall. Overnight lows will be in the upper 60s. Thursday, there will be some showers in the morning, followed by a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm in the afternoon. It will be cooler with highs in the middle 80s. Friday looks to be mostly sunny with highs warming up into the upper 80s to around 90. Unsettled weather is going to make a return to the area on Saturday as there will be a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs will be in the lower 90s. Sunday a cold front approaches with a good chance of showers and thunderstorms in the region. That cold front will stall out just to the south of us and that will mean a risk of afternoon showers and thunderstorms each day.
