Search warrant leads to 13K drug bust in Prince George County

PRINCE GEORGE COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- A suspect has been charged with felony distribution after police found drugs and counterfeit money during a search warrant in the 6400 block of Heather Way on May 15. 

Approximately 500 grams of N-Ethylpentylone, a controlled substance sold as an alternative to LSD, was discovered during the search. 

The street value of the substance is estimated to be $13,000. Police also found approximately $5,000 in counterfeit U.S. currency on the scene. 

Brandon Barner, 26, of Prince George County, was arrested and has been charged with felony drug possession with intent to distribute. 

Additional charges are pending as the investigation continues.
