Trinity's Armando Bacot excelling with U18 Team USA

CANADA (WRIC) - Trinity Episcopal's rising senior Armando Bacot is enjoying his final summer as a high school basketball player, so much so that he's now in Canada with the under 18 USA basketball team competing for a FIBA American championship alongside the best recruits in his class.

Bacot, ranked No. 20 nationally by ESPN in the Class of 2019, is learning under coaching veterans Bill Self, head coach of the University of Kansas Jayhawks, and Anthony Grant, current head coach of the Dayton Flyers and former assistant coach with the VCU Rams.

Bacot has a big decision ahead of him in his senior year once school is back in session, he has many college offers which include Kansas, Virginia, Duke, North Carolina, VCU and UCLA to name a few.
