After several near misses, a developing storm system is poised to bring significant winter weather to Central Virginia.
Another Nor'easeter will approach the region from the south late Friday, bringing with it a chance for light snow showers. Those showers will intensify Friday night into Saturday morning, with some sleet mixing in for the Richmond area and points east.
Snowfall will continue throughout the day Saturday before coming to an end Saturday night.
It is unclear so far exactly how much snow the region will see, but several inches are possible.
