CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (AP) - The University of Virginia will install a memorial marker at the Charlottesville bridge where Morgan Harrington was last seen alive.
The 20-year-old Virginia Tech student's remains were found in January, more than three months after she disappeared while attending a Metallica concert.
Tuesday, the U.Va. Board of Trustees approved the installation of a plaque on the Copely Road bridge. The marker will be dedicated Oct. 17, the one-year anniversary of her disappearance.
The investigation continues into Harrington's disappearance and death.
