Laura reports weekdays for Good Morning Richmond and 8News at 9. She graduated from Radford University, where she majored in English and minored in Media Studies. Directly after graduation, she interned at Virginia Living Magazine, and right after that, she joined the 8News team in July 2006. Laura got her start at WRIC as an assignment editor, but she has worn many different hats at the station -- including internship coordinator, producer and video journalist.
In her spare time, Laura loves to travel and wants to see everything the world has to offer! She prefers to visit beaches and enjoys surfing; she also loves to cook, garden, and read and write. Laura is a huge Red Sox fan and loves watching baseball with her fiance.
