Recipe from Candace N. Sakuda of Honolulu, HI.
Place the following in baking dish:
4 cups rolled oats
2 cups shredded coconut
2 cups nuts (walnuts, almonds, cashews)
Mix together and pour on oat mixture:
3/4 cup canola oil
1/2 cup brown rice syrup
Stir well and bake at 350 degrees F. for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Cool completely. Optional - Add dried fruits: raisins, cranberries, apricots, pineapples, bananas.
Store in airtight container.
