City Schools To Hold New Teacher Institute Aug. 23-26
Nearly 200 new educators join district
WHAT: Richmond Public Schools will welcome nearly 200 new classroom teachers to the city at the district's 2011-2012 New Teacher Institute.
The program is designed to give new teachers valuable and practical insight – along with innovative methods – into teaching core academic subjects and classroom management techniques. Best practice methods will be modeled by some of the district's most outstanding educators as workshop presenters.
WHEN: Aug. 23-26 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
WHERE: Richmond Community High School 201 E. Brookland Park Blvd.
