Richmond Bus Driver Charged After Striking Pedestrian

A Richmond City school bus driver was cited after striking a pedestrian Tuesday morning.

A female victim was treated for minor injuries after being struck by the bus at the intersection of North 3rd Street and Leigh Street.

The bus driver, whose identity was not released, was charged with failure to yield right of way.

Richmond Police are investigating after a pedestrian was stuck by a school bus Tuesday morning.

The incident happened at about 9:15 a.m. at the intersection of North 3rd Street and Leigh Street.

It is unclear if the victim's injuries are life-threatening. The investigation is on-going.
