RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - A woman has been arrested in the December 2008 slaying of a pregnant woman in Henrico County. Police tell the Richmond Times-Dispatch that Kayla C. Armstrong was caught hiding in a closet in a Chesterfield County home on Friday night.
The 28-year-old Armstrong was indicted in October on a first-degree murder charge in the death of a longtime rival, 26-year-old Keiona Braxton.
Braxton's body was found by firefighters responding to a fire at her apartment. An autopsy concluded she died from gunshot wounds. She was three months pregnant.
