UPDATE from State Police:
At 6:21 p.m. Sunday,
Virginia State Police responded to a two vehicle crash on Interstate 95
northbound at the 46 mile marker in Prince George County.
The crash occurred when the driver of a Ford
Mustang lost control of his vehicle and ran off the right side of the
roadway and struck the guardrail. After striking the guardrail, the vehicle
came back onto the roadway and was struck by a Dodge Pick-up.
The adult male driver of the Ford suffered serious
life threatening injuries. The adult male passenger suffered serious non-life
threatening injuries. They were both transported by ambulance to Southside
Regional Medical Center.
The adult male driver of the Dodge and an adult
female passenger both suffered minor injuries and were transported by ambulance
to Southside Regional Medical Center.
Everyone involved in the crash was wearing their
safety belts.
It remains under investigation if weather was a
factor in the crash. The crash investigation is on-going.

A serious crash has closed northbound Interstate 95 in Prince George County.
The crash is located in the northbound lanes near the Interstate 295. It is unclear how many people are injured.
State Police said two vehicles were involved.
Drivers are advised to avoid the area and to stay off snow covered roads if possible.
