A Chesterfield man is under arrest, charged with the abduction and rape of a woman last Wednesday.
According to police, Francisco Salaz-Lopez abducted the victim from the Latino Fe Saber restaurant in the 4600 block of Jefferson Davis Highway, forcing her into a car. The suspect allegedly drove the victim to a residence on Dulwich Drive, where he is accused of raping the victim.
Police said the victim was able to escape during the alleged assault and called for help.
Salaz-Lopez is charged with rape and abduction.
