Two Arrested In Henrico Bank Robberies, Third Suspect Sought

HENRICO, VA—Following two bank robberies and an attempted bank robbery within a one hour period, Henrico County police have arrested two suspects and continue to seek a third.

Charles N. Decker, 41, of Henrico, was arrested and charged with robbery on Friday.

Decker was charged in connection with the robbery of the Central Virginia Bank in the 3400 block of Lauderdale Dr on Wednesday. Police said the robbery occurred around 2:30 p.m. when the suspect entered the bank and passed a note to a bank clerk demanding money.

Police also arrested and charged a second person in connection with a separate bank robbery.

Tomorrow M. Felix, 39, of Henrico, was arrested and charged with robbery on Friday.

Felix was charged in connection with the robbery of the Suntrust Bank in the 4000 block of Glenside Dr. on Wednesday. Police said the robbery occurred around 3:30 p.m. when the suspect entered the bank and passed a to a bank clerk demanding money.

Police continue to search for a suspect in a third incident. Authorities said an attempted robbery occurred at the Assurance Federal Credit Union in the 2000 block of Staples Mill Rd. on Wednesday.

Police said a male entered the bank and passed a note to a clerk demanding money. The clerk was able to leave the teller area and the suspect then left the bank, according to police. The suspect left without taking any money, police said.

This suspect is described as a heavy set, black male, with a dark complexion, 6'0", 220-240 lbs., 30-40 yrs. old.

No injuries were reported in the robberies or attempted robbery.

Detectives said they are looking into all possibilities as to whether or not the three incidents are related to each other.
