Tim Pandajis joined the News8 Team in May of 2012 as the weekend morning meteorologist. Originally from Connecticut, he comes to us from WHAG the NBC affiliate in Hagerstown, MD where he was the weekday morning meteorologist. Tim is a graduate of Western Connecticut State University where he earned a B.S. in Meteorology and is a member of the American Meteorological Society.

Tim knew without a doubt that he wanted to become a meteorologist when he was in the third grade. The Blizzard of 1996 hit Connecticut that year and his hometown picked up over 2 feet of snow! This storm fascinated him and he was glued to the local TV stations watching his favorite meteorologists forecast the storm.

He's excited and honored to be working with the most experienced weather team in Richmond and looks forward to sharing his love and fascination of weather with the News8 viewers! Tim's really into social media so if you have twitter and Facebook, give him a follow!
