An armed robbery and an attempted armed robbery in Henrico County
have police searching for suspects.
An attempted armed robbery took place in the 7600 block of Beth Rd. just after
12:20 a.m. Saturday, according to police.
The victim told police he was sitting in a car when a man
with a gun approached the vehicle and demanded money.
When the victim told the man he did not have any money, the
man ran away, according to police.
A second incident occurred in the 300 block of Shetland Ct. around
2:40 a.m.
Police said a second driver was approached by a man with a
gun and robbed. That suspect got away with the victim's car keys and money,
police said.
Police said they do not believe the incidents are related. No
description of the suspects was given.
