Colonial Heights, VA— Police are investigating a shooting that happened Friday morning at a Colonial Heights store.
Police responded to reports of a man shot at the NTelos wireless store located at 3107-1A Boulevard, just after 10:20 a.m. Friday.
When police arrived, they found one man dead of an apparent gunshot wound.
Police said they are investigating the incident as a "death investigation" and not as a homicide. Authorities said they are investigating all possibilities, including the possibility that the wound was self inflicted.
Police described the victim as approximately 50-years-old and said he was associated with the store. It was unclear if he was an employee or the store's owner.
