A Henrico County man has been charged with murder in connection with the February death of his 3-month-old son.More >>
Richmond, VA—Henrico police are investigating a shooting in the Essex Village Apartment Complex off Laburnum Avenue in the late afternoon of Sunday, June 24. One person was injured.
After reports of gunfire, police responded to the complex, and found one male victim with a gunshot wound in the leg. The victim was taken to VCU Medical Center with non life-threatening injuries, and is expected to recover.
Police are currently searching for the shooting suspect, described as a black male with facial hair, wearing a white T-shirt and black jeans at the time of the crime. Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 804-780-1000.
