Virginia Gas Prices Drop 75 Cents From April Peak

RICHMOND, VA—Virginia gas prices have dropped since their April peak.

Gas prices in Virginia have dropped 75 cents since their April peak of $3.93 earlier this year, according to AAA Mid-Atlantic.

Virginia's average price of $3.18 a gallon is 20 cents less than the national average of $3.38 a gallon, according to the group.

The cost of fuel in Virginia went down by 2 cents from overnight, AAA Mid-Atlantic said Wednesday.
