A bench trial has been scheduled for September for the Hanover County woman who faked cancer to raise money.
Martha Nicholas was convicted earlier this year of obtaining money under false pretenses after court records showed she pretended to be a three-time cancer patient in an effort to raise money.
Now, Nicholas is facing five new felony charges including Medicaid fraud. In court Wednesday, a trial date of September 26 was set by the judge.
