Man Robbed In Chesterfield Motel Room; Suspects Sought

Chesterfield, VA—Police are searching for two men accused of robbing another man on June 27 at the VIP Inn, located at 2301 Willis Road.

On Wednesday, June 27 at approximately 11:00 PM, police say one suspect entered the victim's room and began speaking with him. The second suspect entered the room moments later, demanding money and armed with a long gun.

The second suspect then forced the victim into the bathroom, and stole cash and other items before fleeing the scene with the other suspect. The suspects were seen leaving the hotel in a light colored, late 1990s model Ford Crown Victoria or similar style vehicle with Virginia tags. No shots were fired during the robbery.

Police describe the first suspect as a black male wearing a white T-shirt, baggy shorts and a hat. He had a medium build and was about 5 feet 9 inches tall.

The second suspect, who brandished the gun, is described as a black male in his late 20s wearing a white T-shirt and baggy shorts. He was about 6 feet 1 inch tall and had a white cloth covering his face.
