HENRICO, VA— A man was seriously injured after being shot in the chest in Henrico County on Monday night.
Police said the shooting happed just before midnight in the 6000 block of Nine Mile Rd.
The victim is being treated for possible life-threatening injuries at VCU Medical Center, according to authorities.
Police said they were called to investigate after the victim arrived at the hospital.
No suspect description is known. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (804) 780-1000.
