Teens Charged For Chesterfield Auto Theft, Vandalism
Chesterfield, VA—Eight suspects have been arrested following a string of automobile larcenies and vandalism in Chesterfield County in May and June.
Police say a total of 16 incidents occurred in various locations in Chesterfield, including in the Stoney Glen West, Arbor Landing, Ashton Dell, Harrowgate Meadows, Somerset, Harrowgate Place and Greenbriar subdivisions, and at River Forest Apartments and Garden Springs Apartments.
The five adult suspects who have been charged in relation to this incident are: Justin C. Deford, 18, of the 11300 block of Pintail Landing Place; Tyler D. Wallace, 20, of the 6400 block of Bel Lac Drive; Chelsea L. Netzley, 19, of the 5800 block of Chrisfield Drive; Jason Brannon, 19, of the 9300 block of Creasman Drive and James W. King Jr., 19, of the 15900 block of Sandwave Road.
Three juveniles, including two 17-year-old males and a 13-year-old male, were also charged.
Combined the suspects face a total of 57 charges, including petit larceny, grand larceny, arson, conspiracy to commit a felony and vandalism.
Several of the suspects have been previously charged for similar crimes in Colonial Heights.
