Richmond, VA--Police are investigating a vandalism and possible abduction incident which occurred outside the Stony Point Fashion Park on Saturday, July 14.

According to police, the victim, who has only been identified as a white male, had been sleeping in his car in the parking lot of the shopping center early Sunday morning, when a bullet entered the vehicle at about 4:45 AM.

The victim was then allegedly robbed by a suspect described as a black man with several tattoos wearing a red, striped polo shirt. The suspect then forced the victim to rob and vandalize five vehicles in the parking lot.

The suspect then forced the victim back into his vehicle, and rode with him as he drove to Mechanicsville Turnpike. The victim's car broke down in the 2100 block of Mechanicsville Turnpike, and both males exited the car. The suspect fled the scene on foot, and the victim walked to a police station where he reported the incident.

Police are currently investigating this incident; more details are expected to emerge shortly.
