DINWIDDIE, VA—A Dinwiddie County woman won $1 million, the top prize, in a Virginia Lottery game.
The woman played the scratch off game Million Dollar Cash Bozanza.
She was given the choice of taking the full $1 million over a 25 year period or taking a one-time cash prize of $653,000 before taxes. The woman decided to take the cash option.
The store where the winning ticket was sold will receive $10,000 from the Lottery.
The woman played the winning ticket Friday 13th.
The Virginia Lottery generated more than $444 million for Virginia's public schools in 2011.
