COLONIAL HEIGHTS, VA—Police
have confirmed a man was killed during a shooting at a Colonial Heights gun range Wednesday night.
Police responded to reports of shots fired at the Smoking Gun shooting range
located at 127 Boulevard around 7 p.m. Wednesday night.
A male victim was found shot, according to police. Colonial Heights police Sgt. Rob Ruxer said
no one else was involved in the shooting and they do not suspect foul play.
Charges are not pending, according to police.
A female employee at the range told 8News the man was in the shooting range

The worker said another person later found the man shot, at least once. The
worker said she performed CPR on the victim while the other person called
police.
The victim was taken to a local hospital where he died of his injuries.
