A Hanover County man is under arrest, accused of posing as a federal agent to gain access to a local business.

Terry L. Beach Sr., 58, has, since April, posed as a federal agent with the Drug Enforcement Administration, according to the Hanover Sheriff's Office.

Beach is accused of convincing several employees of an unnamed Hanover County business to give him access to their facility.

Authorities did not detail what business Beach was allegedly gaining access to or what his motive was.

Hanover and federal agents continue their investigation. They are asking anyone who may have had similar involvement with Beach to call Hanover Sheriff's Office at 365-6110, or Crime Stoppers at 780-1000.
