LYNCHBURG, Va. (AP) - A former federal courthouse in downtown Lynchburg will soon be home to a technology company.
Innovative Wireless Technologies bought the more than 36,000-square-foot building on Main Street for $960,000 in May, according to city records. Chief financial officer and chief operating officer Todd Irby says the company will be moving into the building in August.
The building has been unoccupied since 2005, when a new courthouse opened. A Harrisonburg developer bought it for $900,000 in 2009, and it turned around and sold it to Innovative Wireless.
