Richmond, VA—Virginia state leaders, tourism officials and brewery representatives will announce Virginia's first August Virginia Craft Beer Month Wednesday afternoon.
Virginia Craft Brewers and the Virginia Tourism Corporation will officially announce Virginia Craft Beer month at the Legend Brewery (321 West 7th Street, Richmond, Virginia) , at 4:00 PM.
An interactive map designed to lead visitors to Virginia craft breweries equipped for tastings and open for tours will also be presented.
The announcement event is free of cost, and open to the public.
Event organizers wish to not only present the first-ever August Virginia Craft Beer Month, but also drive tourism to the more than 40 craft breweries and restaurants statewide which produce and serve Virginia craft beer.
