Man Arrested In Armed Robbery Of Hanover Store

HANOVER, VA- Police arrested a man in connection with an armed robbery in Hanover County on Thursday night.

Timothy R. Pryor, 32, of the 100 block of The Point in Lancaster County, was charged with robbery and grand larceny.

Officers responded to a report of an armed robbery at a convenience store located in the 8100 block of Atlee Road at approximately 10:30 p.m. Thursday.

When officers arrived on scene, they received a description of the suspect, that they released to deputies and Memorial Regional Medical Center security officers.

The suspect was later spotted by an MRMC security officer who notified Hanover County deputies.

A Hanover County Sheriff's deputy stopped a vehicle in which Pryor was a passenger and was able to apprehended Pryor at approximately 10:45 p.m. Thursday.

Pryor is being held without bond at the Pamunkey Regional Jail in Hanover County.

He has a preliminary hearing set for September 25, 2012 at 9 a.m.
