Chesterfield Police have arrested and charged three men in connection to several recent commercial burglaries.

Steven L. Thompson, 45, is charged in five separate incidents from July 19 to July 30. In addition, 37-year-old David Estes is charged in two of those burglaries, and 42-year-old Wayne Cherry is charged in another two.

In each case, suspects smashed through a glass door in front of the business and stole cash registers or cash drawers, police said.

The three suspects face a total of 18 charges, including breaking and entering as well as grand larceny. Police are looking into whether the suspects may be responsible for other recent incidents.

Additional charges are possible.
