Richmond, VA--Following an afternoon of heavy rain, a Richmond apartment building's roof partially collapsed, leaving 8 people displaced.
Just after 6 PM, the rain-drenched roof of the building caved in, leaving 8 people in 2 separate families without a place to live. The Red Cross is assisting these individuals.
The cause of the collapse is under investigation, but preliminary reports suggest that Thursday evening's rains were the root of the problem.
