DINWIDDIE, Va. (AP) - Police are investigating a shooting at an outside gathering in Dinwiddie County that left one man dead and three others wounded.
The Dinwiddie County Sheriff's Office tells media outlets that police responded to the shooting in the West Petersburg community around 12:15 a.m. Sunday.
Deputies found the body of 24-year-old Jamell Everett Snowden of Petersburg at the scene.
Three other men were taken in private vehicles to area hospitals with gunshot wounds. Two are in stable condition and the third is in critical condition.
Police say investigators haven't established a motive for the shooting. No arrests have been made.
