Chesterfield, VA—Police
are seeking a female suspect who robbed the Bank of Southside Virginia located at 4310 W. Hundred Road the afternoon of
Monday, August 6.
According
to police, at about 4:00 PM, the woman approached a teller, brandished a gun,
and passed a note demanding money.
She
then fled the scene on foot, with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The
suspect is described as an African-American female, about 40-55 years old,
standing about 5 feet, 2 inches tall with a thin body frame. She wore
dark-colored pants or jeans, a white jacket, a blue and black-checked scarf,
and eye glasses.
