Sketch Of Homeless Camp Homicide Suspect Released

Fredericksburg, VA--Police have released a composite sketch of the suspect in the homicide of Armando Escobar, whose body was found in a homeless camp behind the Central Park Townhomes on July 25.

The individual in question is described as a Hispanic male in his early fifties, standing about 5 feet 4 inches tall. The male suspect has dark, sun-weathered skin, and it's believed that he usually wears a baseball cap. The suspect may also speak limited English.

Escobar's body was discovered inside a tent within a homeless camp located behind the Central Park Townhomes off Fall Hill Avenue in Fredericksburg on July 25. Police say the victim was known to reside in and around the Bragg Hill Corridor since 2008.
