A Petersburg man has been arrested in connection with a quadruple shooting in Dinwiddie on Sunday.
Jaeon Chavis, 25, was arrested Tuesday by members of the U.S. Marshal Service Fugitive Task Force. He is accused of the shooting which killed Jamel Snowden and injured three others on Brunswick Avenue.
Chavis is charged with first degree murder, three counts of malicious wounding, two counts of attempted murder and various firearms charges.
Chavis is being held without bond and is expected to be arraigned in court Thursday.
The investigation of the incident is on-going. Anyone with additional information is asked to call Crime Solvers at 861-1212.
