Richmond Police are looking for a suspect who attempted to assault a female jogger in the Fan District Monday.

According to investigators, a white male in his late 20s or early 30s wearing a navy blue t-shirt grabbed the woman as she jogged in the 300 block of North Davis Avenue. The woman was able to escape unharmed.

Police said there has been at least one similar incident in the same area, which occurred last year.

Monday's incident has sparked several online warnings circulating among residents.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 780-1000.
