RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - A surrogate for the Romney-Ryan campaign is set to visit Virginia.

The campaign announced that Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal will meet with volunteers Thursday afternoon in Chester. Later in the evening, he will participate in an education reform summit sponsored by fellow Republican Gov. Bob McDonnell in Richmond.

Jindal has been a regular fixture on the campaign trail for the national GOP ticket. Since June, he's traveled to Colorado, Illinois, Utah, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Iowa and Florida to support Mitt Romney, and now Paul Ryan as well.
