Stafford, VA—The Stafford County Sheriff's Office is investigating after human skeletal remains were found in a wooded area off Interstate 95 in Stafford.
At approximately 9:13 AM, a tractor trailer truck driver parked in the exit 140 off ramp discovered the skeletal remains a wooded area he had been walking in. He immediatlye alerted emergency personnel, and Stafford Deputies and members of the Virginia State Police responded.
This incident remains under investigation by the Stafford County Sheriff's Office, as well as the Virginia State Police. Stay with 8News for updates.
