Richmond, VA-Henrico Police arrested a man in connection with a shooting that seriously injured a man Thursday.
Rashad Lamar Charles, 25, of Sandston, was charged with malicious wounding, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, shooting from a vehicle and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Richmond Police were called to the 2200 block of Williamsburg Road, after a 20-year-old male was seriously injured from a gunshot wound Thursday.
When officers arrived on the scene at about 3:15 p.m., they determined that the victim was shot in the Oakley's Lane area near Airport Square Lane in Henrico County.
After being shot, the victim then drove to a residence in the 2200 block of Williamsburg Road, before seeking medical attention, police said.
